Washed these a dozen times already and the cotton still hasn't pilled or lost its shape. The fold-over design stays put inside my bra even on the side I sleep on. Way less waste than the disposables I was going through.
These have saved me so many times during those first leaky weeks. The fold-over design keeps them in place way better than the sticky ones I was using before, and they've stayed soft after multiple washes.
