PDX Diaper Bank

The reusable option here beats disposables on cost — roughly $1200 a year adds up fast, and this cuts that down while still being something you can actually rely on. Knowing one in two families deals with diaper need makes supporting this feel like the obvious choice.

I didn't realize how much families spend on diapers each year until I saw the $1200 figure, and knowing this bank helps with both diaper need and period poverty made donating an easy yes. The reusable option being framed as a lifeline rather than just eco-friendly really stuck with me.

Picked these up to round out a donation box for our local diaper bank drive, and they held up fine through a wash cycle. Wish the pack came with a few more liners for the price, but the absorbency is solid for overnight use.
